We Know The Ships!

We can assist you with the selection process as we know the ships! To narrow down your options we
have compiled this section of our web site. While we do not cover every ship available for your group
function, the major cruise lines are discussed here.  Let's begin with the cruise lines.

Each cruise line builds their ships and creates their cruise experience to appeal to a certain demographic.
It is important to make sure that you are in the right demographic for your group. If you want a quiet cruise
experience you may select a different cruise line than if you seek a more active party atmosphere.

If you want an ultra-luxury experience for your group you may select a different cruise line than if you seek
a lower cost. We represent all major cruise lines and are familiar with their product. We we can provide some
information about each of the more popular cruise lines including comments about using
their product for a group sailing.

A quick note about ship size is in order. We believe the best measure is the "Gross Registered Tonnage"
of the ship. This actually has nothing to do with the weight of the ship. One Gross Registered Ton (or GRT) is
actually 100 cubic feet of passenger space. (A typical compact car, for example, would be about 3 GRT) In
addition, we offer a general indication of passenger capacity. We have used the "basis two" measure which
assumes there are two people in every cabin. Since many cabins can hold three or more passengers, some
people use the bed count as capacity which would be a higher number.
